Cancellation Policies

PUBLIC CLASSES:

You may cancel up to 48 hours before your class starts and use the credit towards a future class; Boot Camps require at least 1-week’s advance notice to be rescheduled. We do not offer refunds on any purchased classes or gift cards. While it is not in our nature to say no, we cannot accommodate last-minute illnesses or work-related conflicts. However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, because we understand these things do happen. 

PRIVATE EVENTS:

You may reschedule your event up to 14 days before the date with no penalty, For events rescheduled with less than 14 days notice, we will charge a $250 rescheduling fee. If you need to cancel your event more than 14 days in advance, your deposit will be returned, minus a $250 cancellation fee. All cancellations that are less than 14 days in advance will forfeit the 50% deposit. Final headcount is due 1 week before your event.

PRIVATE IN-HOME CLASSES:

Once a private class has been booked, it cannot be refunded. If you need to change the date of your class for any reason, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice (more is preferred) so your chef-instructor can be rescheduled and does not miss out on a day of work. 

WHAT IF YOU MISS A BOOT CAMP CLASS?

Because of the volume of Boot Camps we offer, we cannot offer make-up classes to anyone who misses a single class, no matter the reason, as it happens too often and we cannot handle that volume of make-ups.  Once you book your boot camp, make sure to mark (and prioritize) all the dates in your calendar. 

Because we know how disappointing it is to miss a class, you are always welcome to send a friend in your place (just send us their name ahead of class), and perhaps insist that they cook you dinner as repayment.
